The Promise of Eternal Life - In This Body??

Never in recorded history have humans lived indefinitely.  As a matter of fact, scientists estimate that the body is designed to live under the best of conditions, without chronic disease about 120 years.  However, most don't live nearly that long.  The current average life span in developed countries is about 80. What will happen in the New Age with Crystalline Energy Bodies, who knows?   What I do know is that well into the New Age many will continue to struggle  to enter crystalline form, and that we will don, at least for the near term, a physical body that will require continued and increased upkeep in order to keep up with the accelerated energies entering the planet.

With that said, let me also share that the current projections on older adults are rather grim.  It is estimated that by the year 2020, 20 - 25%  of the population will be over the age of 65.  The 65 and older population is projected to increase to nearly 1 billion by 2030.  That's a lot of old folks, will you be part of that group?  Are you counting on social security and sick care, or are you ready to take your health into your own hands?  In the year 2000 the USDHHS estimated that only 31% of people aged 65 to 74 years participate in 20 minutes of moderate physical activity 3 or more times a week.  Only 16% report engaging in 30 minutes.  Later, smaller studies showed little to no improvement in those numbers.  While the number of yoga students has increased since 2000, many of the benefits of yoga are being missed because of the Americanization of the spiritual practice into sport.  While sport is good, yoga does not provide the same benefits as traditional aerobic and weight training activities no matter how quickly they are done or how long the poses are held, even when you only do "power" poses.  Asana (yoga postures), just 1 of the 8 limbs of the yogic path, was not designed for that purpose and moreover, many aging adults who have remained active have stopped traditional forms of exercise and have replaced it with sub par yoga.  Should I mention here the staggering statistics on stress levels in our society and the percentage of our population on anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, and sleeping pills? Hmmm, no, I can't bear it.

So, the questions remain, how do we age successfully and how do we increase our active life expectancy in a rapidly changing world, a world in which we are being called into our own mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and energetic Mastery?  Stay tuned throughout 2013 and I will continue to share knowledge, wisdom, experiences, insights, and practices that have been given to me by my guides both in human and celestial form.

Pre New World/New Age Jitters

The energy is revved up! Whew!!  I described earlier that life was like watching a VCR tape on fast forward.  One minute you are in it and you are the character of the drama on speed. The next minute you are serenely watching the drama of others speed by.  Either way, the Light is shining, remember that.  Even if it is shining revealing all of the shadows.  Breathe, acknowledge, and most of all have compassion both for yourself and others as they too are becoming exposed in the Light. Be aware, acknowledge, open your heart, and accept what it is you are being shone...this is the recipe for Inspired Action and for the upcoming Ascension.  We cannot change what we are not willing to acknowledge.  Once we really see with eyes wide open, change happens, for the pain of not changing becomes greater than the pain caused by a fear of change.

So, this is the energy lead up to the 12-12-12, 12-21-12 end of the world thing...no worries, it's just the end of the world as we know it.  And if enough souls can master the above in Love...Our Highest Selves will Descend into our human forms.  It is up to us how quickly that will happen upon entering the Golden Age of EnLightenment.  Just remember, our body is a metaphor, it holds the memories of our ancestors and our lives, it tells our whole story.  As the Light shines upon us it reveals in metaphors the parts of ourselves that need healing, that we have abandoned, as well as the parts we struggle to let go of and grow into.  Living Life with Eyes and Heart Wide Open will indeed set you FREE.
