Did you ever try to complete a project and for whatever reason, just feel like you were pushing a boulder up a mountain in the "trying?"
Each day we make a plan, have expectations on what will be accomplished and then...Life Happens and we come to see how it was all meant to unfold. We can reflect back on what felt comfortable, what we were willing and ready to express and what we were not. Did we in fact have control or did we not? I am not sure it matters. Somehow, we moved through the day. Somehow expression happened. Somehow, who we were in those moments showed up in a very real way and were clues to our futures unfolding.
What's Happening Now, if we really pay attention, is the very clue to our future success if we are just willing to look at it. If we can just see the Truth of this moment and simply show up to life and live what is set before us and be present to it as it unfolds, we can be sure not to miss a beat of it and remain steady on our path. The truth is, we can only live from where we are at. Nothing else is possible. And even if we try to be something more, we will always attract what it is that we need to set us straight on our course.
Just for today, Trust that all is as it is meant to be. And whatever twist of fate was thrown your way, was a blessing in disguise.

Letting Go of the Story
Sometimes, it is our story that makes us sick.
What stories do you tell yourself?
I'm not good enough, I'm fat, I'm too old, I'm shy, I'm stupid, I'm a substance abuser, I'm an adult child of an alcoholic, I'm a survivor, I have cancer, I'm only comfortable around people I know...The list could go on and on.
Yes, no doubt these stories make up your history, however, they are not who you are. In order to grow and to thrive rather than just survive we must let go of the self-imposed limits we place on ourselves and dare to expand and one day remove the box in which we exist in so that we may truly live. Today, challenge the stories you tell yourself, let them live as only part of your past. Today, create a new story, one that is expansive, full of potential and freeing. Make choices based on this new story. Or better yet, release the story all together and let your infinite heart potential that arises each moment define you just for that moment.
