The Gift of Snow

Did you ever look at something without thought and just Know? As the snow fell last night and left a beautiful layer of white on the grass and trees I just knew it was our gift. The universe so pleased with itself that it had produced snow. No, it wasn’t exactly happy with itself that it had made snow, it just was. And with that state of being, peace. Simply at peace that it was snow and it was beautiful. The universe was not worried what the commute would be like, or if it would create a shoveling extravaganza, it was snow and that was it. It was at peace with itself and I in turn at peace with it. How did I get there? I simply came deeply into the moment with it, no mind, just being. When we approach life in this way, it can all be beautiful. Present moment being.
